Prague Spring Presentations Abroad
As an international festival, the Prague Spring naturally promotes itself abroad. This year the Festival has been promoted by way of presentations in Bratislava, Dresden, and London. In April, there will also be a Prague Spring presentation in Paris. You can look at photographs of these in the attachment.
The presentation in Bratislava took place on 21 January 2009 in the amiable atmosphere of the Prague Days festival, at which the Prague Spring was the patron of the Zemlinsky Quartet.
In Dresden, where we were the guests of the Czech Centre, our presentation on 10 March was enthusiastically met by journalists. Have a look at the television report on Dresden Fernsehen!
The Festival was presented in London on 24 March (the photographs are still fresh!) by the conductor and Festival President, Jiří Bělohlávek. It was organized by the Czech Centre together with the head of the ‘Martinů Revisited’ project and the British premiere of Ondřej Havelka’s documentary film about Magdalena Kožená.
