—On Saturday, 15 May 2010, the official announcement of the results of this year’s Prague Spring International Music Competition in the categories of violin and trumpet was made at the Town Hall of the Old Town, Prague.

—We are pleased to announce the winning violinist in the 2010 Prague Spring International Music Competition! The winner is Marianna Vasilyeva of Russia. Second Prize goes to both Jan Mráček from the Czech Republic and Stefan Tarara of Germany. Congratulations!

9/5/2010 Photo The Opening and Draw of the Prague Spring Music Competition
—The Prague Spring Music Competition in the violin category officially opened at Národní dům (National House), Vinohrady on 7 May, at 6 pm. It was followed by a draw to determine the order of competitors in the First Round.
One day later at the Faculty of Music, AMU The Music Competition in the trumpet category officially opened as well.
