Perhaps for the first time ever in the Czech Republic we shall hear the original version of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, called the Titan, in the form that the composer presented it to a Budapest audience in 1889. This time it will be performed by the Hungarian National Philharmonic, conducted by Zoltán Kocsis.
