The best known musical amphibian, the eighty-one-year-old André Previn, who, with his collection of Oscars and Grammy Gold Records earned as the conductor of the film versions of the musical My Fair Lady and the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, and for recordings of symphonic compositions, including his own works, and a bestseller jazz album, will, before his own concert with the Czech Philharmonic, appear in the double-role of virtuoso pianist and composer of a new work for clarinet, which will be heard in a world premiere at the Prague Spring.
