A survey of the most recent album (Un frisson français) by the American star soprano Susan Graham offers a selection of virtually unknown song creations by French masters of the 19th and 20th centuries. A part of that album will also be heard at the festival concert, which is also attractive because of the accompanist, the Scottish pianist Malcolm Martineau.
