The queen of the violin is returning to the Festival stage for the first time in eleven years, as we mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Felix Mendelssohn, with that composer’s Violin Concerto, a gem of the Romantic violin literature. Her concert performance under the baton of the legendary Kurt Masur promises to be an unforgettable experience.
